Hi! I'm Ka'Lia 24, and I absolutely adore children and animals. I moved to Austin, Tx in May of 2020 when I was introduced to Care. com. I have a passion for nurturing and caring for others, and creating lasting memories and childhoods. I am a compassionate nanny that is very child focused. I encourage babies to be babies and explore the world around them with nature walks, interactive story time, song and dance, sensory play, outdoor enrichment, water adaptation, and toy rotation. I am currently in school to get my newborn sleep certifications as I believe sleep is an important part of babies brain and physical development. I am fully vaxed, I have celiac disease and hashimotos thyroiditis and live a fully gluten free lifestyle. Although I can't consume gluten, I am able to prepare it. I drive a Toyota Prius, and have a clean driving record as I have experience transporting babies to and from activities and classes. I love swimming, reading, and roller skating! Ka'Lia is wonderful with pets and kids. She's taken care of our youngest and or dog on numerous occasions. She's always on time, detail oriented, and keeps things educational and interesting for the baby. We hired her on a few odd jobs and many errands as well. She's responsible and makes life run smoothly. 10/10 definitely would recommend
