I have a lot of experience working with children, and I enjoy it. I worked as a teacher and tutor in a charter school for grades K-6 from 2014-2016 and currently work part time for an educational nonprofit/after school program in Durham Public Schools. When it comes to babysitting I believe in playing games, telling stories and interacting with the kids I sit instead of always having them in front of the TV. I often do crafts with kids if they are interested.. I am firm but caring and the kids usually treat me as if I was an older sister. My main priority is safety but we always have fun too. I do not have a ton of experience with babies, but children 3 and up are right up my alley.
