About Kalena

Hi there! My name is Kalena and I am based in New York City! I grew up in Utah, where family is at the forefront of everything. I was always babysitting for multiple families in the neighborhood and was surrounded by tons and tons of little cousins! In college, I studied Musical Theatre performance and was lucky enough to help run a university summer camp for kiddos in the arts. I worked with kids ages 5-18 and (not to brag) was definitely the camp favorite due to my fun loving nature and ability to meet children where they are at. I also have ample experience with infants! While I was studying, I also took multiple courses on Autism Studies and have experience with kiddos on the spectrum. I really value creativity and curiosity, and believe that children are capable of so much more than we give them credit for!
