About Kalan

Hi there! My name is Kalan and I grew up in a big family, with 3 siblings and lots of cousins! I have a daughter of my own and adore kids. I am creative, positive, encouraging, and patient. I believe kids deserve a safe and loving environment full of communication! I'd describe my personality as bubbly, kind, and compassionate I like working with kids because they are inquisitive, high energy, and always learning I'm looking for a job that I can help a family who needs it. I would also love someone comfortable with me having a toddler of my own. I started working with kids when I was about 15! I began babysitting a toddler and babysat him for several years! In my spare time, I like to read, journal, draw, craft, and cook! One thing you should know about me is I am very focused on making sure the parents are comfortable with me and I get as much information about the kiddo before beginning. My skills include calming meltdowns, communication, and creative learning
