I'd describe my personality as creative, thoughtful and patient. I like working with kids because they're so creative & imaginative. I love being able to find my inner child to come down to their level and create with them. Connecting with children is so special and such a unique experience. I've worked with kids since I was 12 years old, though I have professionally cared for kiddos for 6 years. I love all stages of early development but early years are my favorite. In my spare time, I like to cook, bake, craft, read, journal and explore. You should know about me is I'm shy but I open up quick. I'm a very detail oriented and meticulous person. I worked for a large hotel from 2017 to 2019. Whereas, after leaving I still maintained cleaning services by switching to housekeeping & maid servicing for 3 years. My husband and I moved to the Michigan in 2022 but will be returning to our hometown of Portland in Spring of 2026.

Kaity is nothing short of absolutely phenomenal. She's become an extension of our family over the past two years. I trust her completely to care for my kids without feeling the need to provide oversight. She started with us when my oldest was just starting to talk and now we have have a new addition. Postpartum is such a vulnerable time and she helped me immensely and compassionately as I adjusted to being a mother of two. Her care is beyond the basics... She takes initiative to provide age-appropriate activities to fit my toddler's unique interests. She approaches discipline with compassion and uses them as teaching moments for my son. She's also helped us to establish and maintain healthy routines and takes feedback given and our overall values and goals as a family into account. We're so excited for her upcoming move back to Portland, but will miss her terribly.
