About Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn started working with my family in September of 2020 caring for my - at the time - 4 month old baby girl, 2 year old son and 4 year old girl. To name a few important traits...we were looking for an "on-the-floor" involved type of Nanny that led with love, respect and patience as well as healthy cooking skills to supplement my lack of food diversity and she brought all this and more! My husband and I had very busy schedules and we needed Kaitlyn to be early and punctual, she did not waiver. Amongst some of the small details that made our busy lives 10 times easier is Kaitlyn loved organizing and labeling: anything from toys, books, and then kitchen, etc etc.! She kept the kids' clothes rotated once they would grow out of items and made lists in a shared app of anything that needed to be replenished. She was constantly researching and educating herself on clean, healthy living from foods to toys to household items/cleaners. Her knowledge inspired me to really deep dive into the realm of "clean living" and this is how we still live our lives today. Most importantly, my 3 babies adored her and they all instantly clicked. She was silly, always smiling with them, singing and laughing and making sure they were outside as much as they could be. I left every morning knowing my 3 babies were completely safe and loved in her care. She respected my time while I was working and just took charge but would check in to calm my mommy mind. She has the experience to be able to make the best decisions for the kids in every event but when there was any doubt, she would reach out to me. Kaitlyn was with us when we received my son’s autism diagnosis in 2021 and helped me research the best therapies for him as well as supported me while I navigated a new challenging journey. She held a safe space for my kids during meltdowns and to this day they have great self-regulation skills! She took on a lot for my family but treated us as her own family, as we did her and are eternally grateful for everything she taught us, the strength she brought me and the love she showered my babies with. Kaitlyn would still be with us today if we did not change our living situation but she will always be a part of our lives and any future family considering Kaitlyn would be lucky to have her!
