I have been around kids my entire life. I am the youngest of 5 children, and all my siblings are anywhere from 14-18 years older than me. This made me an aunt by age 5 and by 10 years old I had 3 nieces and a nephew. I was always the built in babysitter since everyone lived in the area. I have looked after children of all ages including babies, toddlers, young children and even adolescents. In high school I babysat on weekends and even watched two young girls age 5 and 6 for the summer. I watched them Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. -5pm, and we had a blast. We would play in the pool, practice reading, do arts and crafts, play sports in the backyard; basically anything you could think of. A big part of watching kids is keeping the days exciting and new!
