I LOVE spending time with anyone with special needs. They mean well and they are some of the kindest people I have met. Growing up I been close to a little girl with Downs Syndrome. She is the highlight of my day every time I see her. I have continued to babysit her for 4 years now. At my high school I am in Tutor, it is one of my favorite classes. I love seeing their point of view on things and how they interact with others. I am been the same kids peer tutor since we were in 7th grade. We have grown to have a very good friendship and we even have a handshake. About once a month we go out and do something fun with each other. Furthering my education I would like to study Special Education. After I get my degree I want to be a high school special education teacher. I have learned to love being in the high school with those specific students. Then in the far future I would like to open up my own special needs after school program that they can go to and be themselves.
