As an undergraduate studying communication science and disorder, I am currently preparing myself for a long career working with those who have speech disorders. This includes both children and adults with special needs. Along with preparing for a future working with special needs children, I have past experiences working with special needs children as well. I taught private swim lessons for two years at the a community center to a wide variety of clients, several of which had some kind of disability. I am currently working as a nanny for a child who has Cerebral Palsy in Milwaukee where I attend school but will be back in my hometown of Park Ridge for the summer and am interested in continuing to work with special needs and disabled children.
