About Kaitlyn

Hello! I am a recent graduate from UCSB, and during my time there, I also worked at an elementary school for 3 years with kids ages 4-12. I have a background in early childhood education and have cherished the close and meaningful bonds I have made with the families I have babysat for. I love being a babysitter because I find happiness in being a caretaker, and I have learned through my past job that I am skilled at problem-solving, showing empathy, and being detail-oriented, which is important when babysitting kids. Parents often tell me they appreciate my calm energy, strong communication, and reliability - I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust with your children. I'm happy to help with light household tasks, meal prep, or anything that helps support the family's routine. My ultimate goal as a babysitter is to make both kids and parents feel at ease, knowing their home and children are in caring, capable hands.
