Hello!! I am a 37-year-old nanny and stay at home mother, who has had the pleasure of being in the child care profession (full-time) for the last 15 years. I spent half of my college career majoring in English at the University of Iowa and (ultimately) ended up graduating from De Paul with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art (with a focus on painting and sculpting). I am a high-energy, adventuring-loving, craft-making, kind of nanny -- who, also, loves nothing more than cuddling up with a little one and reading a fun good book. I genuinely believe that instilling emotional intelligence, pragmatic thinking and self advocacy in children along with nurturing their communication skills and sense of self is the biggest gift you can give a child. It's, also, worth noting that I am extremely punctual and reliable and a non-smoker.

Kaitlyn has been an incredible nanny to our son for the past 16 months. She started as our nanny when our son was 7 months and he will turn 2 in September. During this time, Kaitlyn has assisted my husband and me in sleep training our son (it was no easy feat), creating an age-appropriate and healthy meal plan for all stages, and finding a routine that works for our family. She is currently helping us introduce the concept of potty training to him. She truly has been a gift to our entire family. In the near year and a half that we've known her, we have never seen Kaitlyn in a bad mood. She is always positive, enthusiastic, and eager to grow our son's development to new levels. Together, they are an active pair - spending their days outdoors at parks and museums throughout the city and engaging with other children through her strong network of nanny friends. My husband and I feel completely confident in Kaitlyn's abilities to care for our son and have never once felt concern for his safety, development, well-being, or overall happiness while he was in her care. The three of us love Kaitlyn as family.
