About Kaitlyn

I'd describe my personality as bubbly, nurturing, creative. I like working with kids because I find joy in nurturing young minds and seeing the creative, positive energy children bring. I started working with kids when I was about 16 years old, however I spent many years caring for my younger siblings prior to that. I have been caring for children for years now and it is a passion of mine. In my spare time, I enjoying hiking and doing arts and crafts, and spending time with my loved ones. One thing you should know about me is I have some college experience and enjoy sparking creativity with imaginative play, crafts, and reading. My skills include providing a nurturing and understanding environment for children to express their emotions and needs, I am good at communicating with parents verbally, through messaging, and recapping days, as well as enforcing household boundaries with a positive manner and giving positive reinforcement. I was previously CPR and First Aid certified as well.
