Katie watched my son from 9m to 13m and was a wonderful addition to our home. My feeling was that she took care of him the way I would if I was home - singing to him, going to the park, playing in the back yard, finding fun music classes, 'swimming' in the mini pool...it really made being away easier. She was great with prepping meals for the baby, helping with laundry/dishes, paying attention to the dog and she had helpful insight for this first time mom from her vast child care experience. It was also very clear from the start that my son liked being in her company; he always had big smiles and wants to be held when Katie comes!
