About Kaitlin

I am a student at UO studying art and technology, so I would love to bring that creativity into childcare work. (Doing crafts, art and such) - I would be perfect for a creative kid! I have several years of different childcare experience -I worked in a day care in high school for about a year, kids ranging from 1-year-old to- 13, I was watching about 6 kids on my own most days, supervising playtime, preparing snack and sometimes light cooking, and food prep. -I have my food handlers license as well. I volunteered at another daycare that was much more structured for a few months before getting that job - there I lead reading time, helped in learning groups, and had lots of practice with conflict resolution. Later in high-school I babysat for a few different families and have experience working with kids around the ages of 2-6 one on one. -- Im happy to do light housework and cooking along with babysitting if it is needed and makes sense for the job.
