About Kaitlin

Kaitlin has been our full time nanny for 4.5 years, since our youngest was an infant. She has become a part of our family, and outside of regular weekdays with our three kiddos - daily dropoffs, pickups, activities, practices, summer chaos - she also does overnights for periods of time and some travel with all of us! She started in 2019 and within a year, COVID had shut down schools. She became a teacher in our home to the 2 school aged kids (as well as her own daughter) because my husband traveled constantly and I was working full time. It was difficult and she made it work, coming to the house each day with schedule printouts, organizing their work, a “classroom” type reward system, and extra activities lined up to entertain the masses. We were so thankful. Our kids are thriving and Kaitlin is a second mom to them. I’ve entrusted her to make decisions on our behalf to every extent, and never having to question if my kids are safe has been paramount. She is a teacher at heart, and works with the youngest daily to exceed academic standards for her age. She is also super creative and loves to make every holiday fun for them - finding local events, bringing in crafts, arranging treasure hunts, making them gifts, etc. They love this, even at older ages now. She is also extraordinarily patient and kind, but can be firm when needed and morally stands her ground to provide them with a solid foundation for life. We can’t believe it’s time to have to (begrudgingly) give her up to another family. Take my word that she will love your kids like her own, cater her style to meet your needs, and is excellent with all ages (has been with mine from ages 0, 7, 8 through 4, 11, 12). They often tell her they love her when she leaves for the day. It’s touching.
