About Kai

Hi! My name is Kai, I'm a 25-year-old NYU graduate student looking for part-time childcare opportunities this summer. I've spent much of my professional life in roles focused on safety, leadership, and mentoring. I've worked as a wilderness backpacking guide for teenagers, a YMCA lifeguard, and an EMT, which has given me plenty of experience balancing responsibility and professionalism while making sure kids have fun. I love spending time outdoors and would be happy to keep kids active during the summer through trips to the park, sports, and games. Families can count on me to be calm, dependable, and safety-minded, while still bringing a lot of enthusiasm to childcare. I enjoy building genuine connections with the kids I work with and helping create a fun, positive environment where they can learn, explore, and have a great time.
