About Kailey

Hi, I'm Kailey, a literacy specialist with a Master's degree in Elementary Education and 8 years of experience teaching early elementary students. I work with children ages 5-10 to build strong foundational reading skills, including phonics, decoding, fluency, and comprehension. I have supported students across a wide range of reading levels, from those who are just beginning to read to those who need extra support building confidence and independence. My approach is structured, supportive, and tailored to each child's needs. I focus not only on skill development, but also on helping children feel capable and confident as readers. Sessions are designed to be engaging and encouraging. I offer sessions in-home, in my home, and at libraries in the East Bay and am happy to connect to discuss setting up a consultation.
