About Kaila

Hi I'm Kai! I have 7+ years of experience working with children from 2-17 and am a passionate farm educator. My professional experiences include positions such as a farm educator for 3 years at Zenger Farm, a facilitator for 1. 5 years, at the Village Free School, an assistant teacher for 1 year at a Montessori preschool, and 2 years working as a nanny and babysitter. I hope to work with kids who enjoy spending their days outside; connecting with the natural world through play, art, cooking, movement, and observation. I'm available Mon-Fri, for 30 hours/week from June 15-Aug 8. I'm enthusiastic about conflict resolution, inquiry based & self directed learning. I am happy to help with tutoring, light housecleaning, driving, and creating fun educational projects with your children!
