About Kaila

Nurturing children and witnessing their milestones brings me immense joy. I recently received my masters in nursing and hold a license as a pediatric nurse practitioner. I have worked as a pediatric nurse on a cardiology floor for 4 years but have 5 years of pediatric nursing experience. I am BLS and PALS certified. My first degree was in human development and family studies. I am patient, friendly, and always follow the parents' lead when it comes to household rules and preferred communication methods. I enjoy engaging children with board games, puzzles, and educational activities. I am comfortable caring for 2 children at a time and happy to assist with cooking and meal preparation. I'm currently available for babysitting during the ongoing healthcare strike, which gives me flexible weekday availability. I'm excited to bring my passion for childcare to your home.
