About Kaila

Hi there, I'm Kaila. I'm an old soul and kid at heart which I have happily found makes me like a magnet to children, seniors and animals! I'm a very passionate singer/songwriter, storywriter, multi-instrumentalist, illustrator, (and wannabe dancer lol), and love to incorporate creativity and imagination in everything I do. I'm currently a Youth Development Professional for an after-school program where I work with 35 children 9-12 years old where I monitor, teach music and art, help with homework, and administor activities. Growing up as the oldest sibling and having younger cousins in my teens allowed me to develop a strong foundation. I'm now Aunt to several little ones. I have cared for dogs, cats, and rabbits for 20+ years and am very open to other animals. I was my mom-mom's fave! I also would spend several hours a week with my older guitar teacher, chatting up storms after we finished our lesson occasionally going for lunch or music stores.
