I have about 5 years experience and have babysat for multiple families in Stl, from newborns (the youngest being about 3 months) to school aged children. I can help with light housekeeping and love preparing meals, as studying food is one of my hobbies. I also enjoy engaging children in a fun yet educational way, so participating in activities, crafts, and games are things I enjoy. Current rate is 25/hr! A little bit more information about me is that I am a recent college graduate who received a bachelor's degree in psychology and I moved to St. Louis from the Chicagoland area in Illinois about 5 years ago now. I have lived in a few different parts of St. Louis and feel that I have now become well acquainted with the city. Babysitting for me has become a meaningful and enjoyable way to make an income while still having some flexibility with my time/schedule and getting a ton of valuable experience, as I hope to go to graduate school and maybe become a child psychologist in the future.

Kaí is so tremendous, I cannot recommend her highly enough. She has been a fantastic, regular sitter for our two (very active!) girls. She establishes such a warm connection with them and exercises great judgement in any situation. She's super curious about child development, and is always coming up with great age-appropriate learning activities. Additionally she's good at maintaining our boundaries and routines, and the girls always have so much fun with her. She's also been a great communicator with us and has helped us and the girls navigate some pretty big transitions. We feel so lucky to have her work with us!
