About Kai

I’ll start by saying that I am very much a helicopter parent, probably to my own detriment. I’m extremely particular about who I allow around my child and who I trust to influence her development. When I first met Kai, I’ll admit I was hesitant. As a young man applying to care for my toddler daughter, I wasn’t sure it would be the right fit. But I decided to give him a chance, having him come while I worked from home so I could observe and get a sense of his caregiving style. I was immediately impressed. Kai is punctual, professional, proactive, and incredibly intuitive. He quickly learned to anticipate not only my daughter’s needs but my own as well. He is wise beyond his years, truly an old soul. When I was in a meeting, he would naturally shift to quiet play without needing to be told. If the Amazon delivery arrived, he’d take initiative to manage the dog so everything stayed calm and smooth. While my daughter napped, he would complete any tasks I had asked, then go above and beyond by finding thoughtful ways to help out around the house. It always felt like he genuinely cared and took pride in being part of our home. Over the years, Kai became part of our family. He created a sense of safety and security for our daughter and brought calm to chaos. His energy and imagination were endless, he could turn any moment into a fun, creative game, often weaving in valuable life skills like problem-solving or conflict resolution. We were heartbroken when he had to move across the country. Kai touched our hearts and left a lasting impression on our family. We will always make an effort to stay in touch. He truly is the golden seed of caregivers. A rare and special person whose presence is a gift. Any family lucky enough to have Kai will find their lives enriched in ways that are simply priceless.
