My name is Kahlia (Ky-leah) and I am a Special Education teacher! I graduated from ASU with a bachelor's degree in Family and Human Development. I am trained in CPR and Behavior Therapy. I enjoy helping out families with childcare, cooking, transportation, etc. I have been a babysitter/nanny/travel nanny on and off for 10+ years while also working a full time job as a registered behavior technician and teacher. I just accepted a job as a preschool Special Ed Teacher at Vanderbilt. I am energetic, creative, always love to smile and laugh, and I have a rich understanding of a child's development. I have a passion for working with children with disabilities. I think it's important to have patience, communication, empathy, and emotional regulation while working with young children! I am moving to Nashville June 5th, and I am interested in finding a family to work for part time on nights after 4 p.m. and flexible weekends! I am willing to travel as well!
