About Kacie

Hello! My name is Kacie. I am an aspiring early education professional. In my last job, I was a teaching assistant at a Montessori school. I worked in a 4th/5th/6th grade classroom covering the ages of 9 to 11. My main role in the classroom was behavior management. I also participated in summer camp at the school with 4 and 5-year-olds. Caring for young children is really where my heart lies. I earned a bachelor's degree from Duquesne University and am beginning a program in January to earn a Post-Baccalaureate Teaching Certificate for PreK-4th grade. Some activities I enjoy doing with children include walking in nature, playing with animals, singing and playing guitar, reading, and doing arts and crafts. I am easy going, imaginative, and have practice setting boundaries with children. I am CPR certified and have Pennsylvania Child Abuse clearances.
