I started working with the special needs community back in 2020, when I joined adult day program in California, a community based program focused on providing individualized support, training, and vocational opportunities to help each member become an active member in their community. I instantly fell in love with the joy and honesty that comes with working with people with disabilities. 2 years ago I moved to Colorado with my partner to start our family. After working with adults in California, I decided to widen my knowledge by working with children with autism. I have since been working with a company. I am currently a practicing Registered Behavior Technician certified. Now on to the next chapter of my life. I am excited to be a friend, mentor, life coach, etc. to an individual with disabilities. I am hopeful to build a strong relationship that will nurture growth.
