About Justin

Teacher and educator with 4 years of experience teaching grades 1-7. I am a current Middle School social studies teacher and an ex-colleague swimmer. Prior to my career in Baltimore I taught English as a second language in Japanese public schools working directly with the board of education to provide quality English education and tutoring/cultural enrichment activities. During my time working with Baltimore City schools I worked closely with our English department to secure massive growth in writing and reading scores with my 6th grade class outscoring the state average in writing and securing major growths in reading comprehension. In my free time I enjoy writing and reading fiction. Documentaries are also a favorite of mine, especially around the history of Africa, Asia, and the Middle Ages.
