About Justin

I'm a 30-year-old elementary school teacher living in Somerville teaching for the Swampscott Public School system. I teach K-4 as a permanent building substitute. What brings me to here is my passion for educating and taking care of our future young adults! While my job teaching focuses on teaching kids from ages 5-9, I have a few years of helping take care of my best friend's 12 and 14-year-olds. While she was at work, I would do everything from playing games with them to running errands like bringing them to their softball games. I also have experience helping my other close friend raise a 14 and 17-year-old. The thing that would make me a great candidate as your nanny is my ability to incorporate an education component while taking care of your children. While I'm happy to meal prep, run errands, do laundry, play games, etc, I'd also love to teach for the appropriate grade level and learning style. I'm confident, energetic, and very patient!

We hired Justin to care for our two kids during the summer. He drove them to and from summer camp, hung out with them for the afternoons, and was always punctual, respectful, helpful and really wonderful with the kids. He was always surprising the kids with new types of activities, and they looked forward to their days with him. Justin is willing to help in any way he can, and in a short time he created a lovely bond with our family. We're so happy to have worked with him and would absolutely recommend him to another family!
