Experience: 6 yrs
My name is Justice and I am looking to start full-time with a family starting asap. I have been a nanny for 6 years and I am passionate about working in personalized childcare. Majority of my experience is caring for babies and toddlers, but I have also worked with school aged children including homework help, school pickup, drop off, and age appropriate extracurricular activities. Some of the families I've worked for have 4+ kids with some older and some younger. Many of the families had two babies/toddlers under 2. I am skilled in feeding, changing diapers, soothing, and engaging in age-appropriate activities. I prioritize the well-being and developmental milestones of the children I care for. I have certifications in CPR/First aid, pediatric CPR/First aid, and safe sleep. I also have an associates degree in communication with relevant child development courses. Nature, compassion, and silliness are all fundamentals to my approach with children.
Justice was great to have in our home and she fit in perfectly with our family. Our little lady loved seeing her every day. She was with us for about 10 months taking care of our girl while I work from home. She took all of our unique parenting styles (ex: cloth diapering) in stride and followed rules and regulations very well for what we desire for our child. She brought so many ideas to the table for activities, took my girl to the library for story time once or twice a week, and went for walks around our neighbourhood and around the library / lake / natural areas in town. Justice was always sure to tell me everything that happened while they were gone, like about dirty diapers and what she ate, how she interacted with others, etc. She took direction and redirection well with restating boundaries and timeliness expectations. She is very communicative about tardiness, doctor appointments, baby’s day, and more. We loved getting all the details from her. She would pick up dishes and toys. She would pick up the baby’s food mess at each meal, which was the biggest help! Having Justice in our home was a great blessing. For the most important part of the job - taking care of the little people in our lives - she excelled. She reads books, cleans up, plays well and runs after the baby, comes up with fun and artistic activities, is communicative, and was very trustworthy. We loved our time with her as our nanny and enjoy when she comes over to babysit occasionally. We absolutely recommend Justice as a nanny!
