About Juna

Hi! I'm Juna. I have 10+ years of experience working with kids, with two years as a preschool teacher and three as a homeschooling tutor. My priority as a childcare provider is creating a safe and structured space for kids to learn, grow, and explore. I have extensive experience with children with autism, especially kids with a PDA profile. I enjoy fostering children's' connection with nature, whether that looks like a trip to the Gunpowder river or a scavenger hunt around the block. I also love to lead arts & crafts activities, and cultivate other creative outlets. I'm looking for a job with a family who have clear boundaries and expectations, and who are affirming of LGBTQ children and adults. In my free time I like to play guitar, write poetry, and play video games with friends. I'm trained in crisis de-escalation, early childhood development, and trauma-informed behavior analysis.
