About Julissa

I believe caregiving is about making people feel safe, respected, comfortable, and cared for while helping them maintain dignity and independence. Communication & mutual respect are important considerations to have. I began caregiving at a young age while helping care for my mother through ongoing medical concerns, and later assisting a friend's mother during hospice care. Those experiences helped shape my compassion, patience, and understanding of the importance of reliable and respectful care. I have experience working with seniors, special needs clients, bedridden and paralyzed patients, and individuals with mobility limitations. I am comfortable assisting with personal hygiene and grooming, bathing, dressing, incontinence care, changing and cleaning urine and ostomy bags, meal preparation, companionship, light housekeeping, and daily living assistance. I also have experience assisting families alongside hospice services, helping provide compassionate end-of-life support and care.
