About Julissa

Hello my name is Julissa, I have hands-on experience in senior care, having worked in a nursing home setting where I provided compassionate, day-to-day support to residents. My responsibilities included meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, running errands, and offering companionship to promote emotional well-being. I also assisted with medication preparation, including support for individuals managing diabetes. In addition, I completed a 9-month Medical Assistant program at Mayfield College, where I gained clinical knowledge and practical skills. During my externship at local urgent care facilities, I became proficient in taking vital signs, checking blood sugar levels, and assisting with medication administration. I am dedicated to providing attentive, respectful, and reliable care, with a focus on supporting both the physical and emotional needs of those I serve.
