About Julissa

I am deeply passionate about helping senior individuals because it is work that feels both meaningful and personal to me. I have hands-on experience caring for my grandmother, who lived with dementia and had a prosthetic leg before she passed away. During that time, I assisted her with daily activities, mobility support, and emotional care, while learning firsthand the patience, compassion, and attentiveness required to support someone with complex physical and cognitive needs. That experience shaped my understanding of dignity in aging and reinforced my desire to work with seniors, ensuring they feel respected, safe, and genuinely cared for.
