About Julissa

Hi! My name is Julissa and I am a first grade teacher who is very passionate about helping young learners build foundational academic skills. Whether it's reading, writing or math- I believe that every child is capable of success, and I work my hardest to make sure they believe that as well. My teaching style is hands-on and engaging, designed to make learning feel fun. I love meeting students where they are and creating a supportive, encouraging environment where they feel safe to learn, grow and take on new challenges.
