I met Julie while she was volunteering with Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego. She was recently the passenger in a major car accident, recovering at home. It was a chaotic time, but Julie made sure to call her Little Sister to let her know what happened and update her. During her last day of school, Julie was doing well with physical therapy, and made sure she attended the party to see her Little Sister. I was moved by how devoted she was during such a hard time in her life. She's always been passionate about her friendships with kids. We both were in a play together that involved younger children in minor roles. Julie was one of the favorite adult actors with the kids. She enjoyed interacting with them backstage, making them laugh, and giving her full attention to their silly stories. I'd love to see Julie get a children caregiver position. She is wonderful with kids!
