About Julie

Hello! My child-care experience includes many years of babysitting and nannying. I recently retired from full-time teaching, having been most recently a reading teacher (certified in the Orton-Gillingham reading method). I'm a mom of 3 adult children & an energetic grandma to 4 young grandchildren. I'm CPR/First Aid certified, and am a responsible, caring, and capable professional who has cared for all ages, including newborn. My varied experience includes full-time summer care for two toddlers, part-time care for newborn twins, and my current role involves care of two children- a toddler and an infant. I was also previously a full-time leadership staff member at a Maine summer camp. I have been certified as a foster parent, have volunteered with Royal Family Kids' Camp, and I can provide strong references. As a former "work outside the home" parent myself, I understand the importance of a caring/capable caregiver whom you can trust to provide excellent care of your little ones!
