I have been working extensively with individuals with special needs for over 20 years. My first job at 15 years old was as a swim instructor and I found that I truly enjoyed working with students that required accommodations for cognitive and physical disabilities. Since then, I've coached youth special Olympics swimming, created a horticulture therapy program at the Denver Botanic Gardens, and worked as a caregiver for a child with autism. As a nanny I have worked with all ages from infants to young adults with a wide range of abilities. I have my own car that I am happy to use for transportation to appointments and respite activities. I cook, clean, sing, dance, tutor, and always lead with patience and empathy. I look forward to working with your loved ones (including the pets).
