About Julie

Julie was an exceptional caregiver who provided 24/7 care for our mother, who was living with advanced-stage ALS. Julie was introduced to us by her daughter Sawyer who was a caregiver for our family. Julie had been a CNA previously and had recently decided to renew her training and reengage in elder care. Julie was eager to learn, asked insightful questions, took meticulous notes and absorbed information quickly. Our mother’s care was highly regimented and complex, involving feeding tube management, cough assist, suction, BiPap, Hoyer lift transfers, medication administration, and detailed personal care. Julie was energetic, dependable, a clear communicator, flexible with her schedule, compassionate, and attentive to both the patient’s physical and emotional needs. She took the time to truly get to know our mother as a person, not just as a patient. Her empathy and calm presence made an enormous difference in the quality of care and comfort our mother received and she was always looking for areas of improvement within our daily plan of care.
