About Julie M

I have worked as a nanny for several families caring for children under five years. I remained with the families for about five years each. I have worked for Green Apple Playschool, Community Daycare, the Ann Arbor Art Center summer camps, the Ann Arbor District Library, and the Young Rembrandts after school art programs. I have 62 CEUs in early childhood education and 30 credits in K12 Education. In January 2025, I will begin working on a Masters in Educational Psychology. I also have six years experience working as a professional housecleaner and as a pet sitter. I have two teenage children who have attended AAPS since we moved to Ann Arbor 10 years ago. In our free time we like to hike, visit the library, make art projects, play board games, and care for our pets. I love working with young children and value play and spending time in nature. I am skilled with helping kids with emotional regulation and supporting children's natural curiosity.
