About Julie

For the past five years, I worked in a classroom with young adults on all subjects to recover their credits. Mostly I taught Math, 1-on-1 with students who had little to no confidence in their ability to do Math. The secret is incrementally showing them they can. My life has been enriched by caring for others. Most of my career I have been an educator working with at-risk high school youth, and I loved the challenges and rewards those positions offered. I grew up babysitting, have worked with a severely handicapped adult, young adults with autism, and many other beautiful, diverse people. I am looking for part-time work as a tutor, caregiver, or companion. I love to see others begin to believe in themselves, learn, play, dance, and laugh. I feel more comfortable working with kids that are of toddler age and beyond. As a teacher, my specialties are in Math, Science, and English. I have a masters degree in education and a knack for connecting with all kinds of people.
