About Julie

My work history has always been mainly with children. I have 7 years of working with children from the ages of 5 to 17 years old. I have come to learn different techniques on how to communicate effectively with children on and off the spectrum as well. Along with my work experience, I have 13 nieces and nephews, and am a mother to a 19-year-old boy and a 4 year girl. My goal while working with any child is to always make them feel heard and safe, while continuing a parental approved schedule to ensure they complete their daily tasks (if applicable). I personally find that having, what the child sees/feels as, a friendship with them helps them listen more and be a bit more compelled and comfortable to follow directions. I hope to be able to meet you and your littles and to be a helping hand. Personally I have benefited from having a village while raising my children and would love to be apart of yours.
