About Julie

Hi, my name is Julie. I started babysitting when I was 11 years old. When I turned 16, I began working at a preschool center as the toddler room lead teacher. Four years later, I moved up to the preschool room. I then quit full time to become an EMT, but still worked at the preschool on my days off. I did that for about a year, but I missed working with kids full time and came back to the center for another two years. I then worked as a nanny for a year until their kiddos went into kindergarten. Shortly after I went back to school and got my masters in child psychology. I then started working at, and am currently working as an employment specialist at Elmview. I'm currently working towards getting my masters (fully online student) and am looking to get back into childcare again for the next few years until I can finish my masters.
