I started working at a small day care when I was 16 and worked there off and on through college. I had some experience with special needs while working there. Then after college I worked at two large day cares. Then in 2003 I was a nanny for a little boy from the time he was 6 weeks old until he was 2 1/2. I also transported his brother and sister who were 12 and 14 years old to and from school. I also planned activities for them for spring break. I have been working at a school for the past 10 years. 9 of which have been with special needs students. I love to watch children learn new things and grow as individuals. I like to teach them and show them new ideas that that may not have seen before. I like to see their eyes light up.
