About Julie

My 15+ years of Senior Caregiver experience encompasses Companion, Personal, Medical, Post-acute, Respite, & Hospice Care. My passion for helping Seniors was realized at age 12 when I began volunteering at a Nursing Home & later worked as a Nurse's Aide. By Residents' requests, many of my nights off were spent wrapping them in warm blankets to go out and stargaze. Although I left to attend College, the joy of caring for Seniors always remained in my heart, exemplified throughout the years by the care & support that I gave to many who blessed my life. When my Mom was diagnosed with Cerebellar Ataxia at age 65, I was fortunate to possess the knowledge & skills necessary to enhance her quality of life during her last 8 years & ensure that she passed comfortably with dignity in the solace of her own home. As I continue to provide care to Seniors with varying needs, my approach will always include fostering dignity, prioritizing safety & comfort, & promoting effective communication.
