Julie was just what the doctor ordered. It was early in our mother's Alzheimer's diagnosis. She was feeling lonely and terribly discouraged - as were the rest of us. Along came Julie with her bag of tricks. Soon my mother was sleeping better, her aggression softened, appetite increased and her former swagger began to show up again. What a difference! The joke in our family was "Where in the World is Claudia?" (my mother), since they were out having fun so often we couldn't keep track of them. I couldn't imagine a better fit for my mom. A true gem.
