About Julie

I have 19 years of childcare experience ranging from babysitting, nannying, to working as a substitute preschool teacher. I have also worked as a child's entertainer at the Colorado Renaissance Festival. I have worked with kids of all ages, with babies being my most favorite to watch. One family I was with from the time the little girl was 2. 5 months old to 2. 75 years old. I helped in her growth and development working on motor skills, crawling, walking, talking, and potty training. I have also helped with household tasks such as cleaning the kitchen, doing baby laundry, vacuuming, taking out the trash, making meals, and running errands for the family. I have also assisted in taking care of household pets from feeding to cleaning up messes. I love to read books in silly voices, dance to music, play pretend, go to the park and library. I'm looking for first time parents/one child family to work with full time/40 hours a week and hope we can grow together for a long time.

We were so happy to have Julie join the family and take care of our son for a year from when he was about 1 to 2 years old. She is dependable, always on time (even early), and truly cares for the kids she’s looking after. Our son loved all the activities they did together, but especially reading with Julie with all the different voices she can do and listening and dancing to music. She not only kept him engaged through many different activities, but also taught him some sign language and helped him hone his skills like feeding and getting dressed. Our son is now in daycare, but we still have Julie babysit every so often and our son is over the moon when she visits! Overall, we’re so grateful to have met Julie and she would be a fantastic nanny to any child!
