I was a job coach for a boy with a rare condition called Simpson Golabi Behmel. I administered medication, provided him with meals, socialized him at places like starbucks and target and coached him while he worked at Trader Joes. I grew passionate about this work. He was a wonderful boy who brought me so much life and joy. I also worked at a daycare healthcare center for children with an array of disabilities for a few months. While I loved the children, it was not a well run company and I have found I prefer to work with one or two children at a time to give them my full love and attention.
