About Julie

Nurturing children's growth and development is a true passion of mine. With 20+ years of experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to pre-teens, I bring a patient, calm, creative, and friendly approach to childcare. I'm comfortable caring for up to three children at a time. I'm a trained ABA therapist - though I am taking a break from that industry. I enjoy working with children on the spectrum, though my approach varies a bit from my training, as portions of ABA industry feel less than humane, in my opinion, to be visited upon children in vulnerable states of development. I enjoy playing outdoor sports, board games, and educational games. I can also help with cooking, and light housekeeping. I follow the parents' lead on household rules and preferred communication methods. Ultimately, I aim to provide a safe, fun, and enriching environment where your children can thrive, and I look forward to the possibility of becoming a part of your family's support system.
