About Julie

Hi! My name is Julie and I am a passionate and experienced educator with a strong background in the arts and a commitment to helping students build confidence and creativity. I have spent many years teaching visual art across a wide range of media, from foundational drawing skills to advanced techniques, including digital art. In addition to visual arts, I am well-versed in music and music theory and offer clarinet instruction, as well as support in drama and theater. I enjoy working with youth at the elementary through high school level and strive to create a supportive, engaging learning environment tailored to each student's needs. Alongside the arts, I can also provide assistance in core academic subjects such as English, spelling, introductory mathematics, and foreign language basics. My goal as a tutor is to make learning approachable, inspiring, and personalized, helping each student grow both academically and creatively.
