About Julie

I have worked at daycares and tutoring centers providing homework help and one-on-one tutoring. My speciality is in tutoring all levels of English, reading, spelling, grammar, etc., and working with non-native English speakers. I can also provide homework help for elementary levels of math, science, and social studies. I have 13 years of experience teaching in the classroom and my current full time job is working in academic support and coordinating a tutoring program. I hire and train tutors, so I am well versed in tutoring techniques that help students learn and master the content, creating independent learners, versus keeping students dependent on the tutor.
