Between in-home daycares, being a private nanny, and working at boarding school for troubled teens, I have had well over 20 years experience working with newborns up through 18 years old, with my passion and specialty being 5 (year olds) and younger. I an educated in the area of early childhood development and education, baby led weaning, and an a certified newborn care specialist. I also continually taking classes to help me better understand the children I work with. I believe that my references will agree that I am honest, reliable, trustworthy, teachable, and easy to get along with. I truly believe that children need a lot of outside time! I make it a point to take the children I work with out of the house every day to parks, zoos, museums, etc. I have a consistent group of nannies that I get together with along with their charges so that every child I work with gets properly socialized early on. I believe in strong boundaries and consistency coupled with compassion and empathy.

There aren’t enough words to express how much Julie has meant to me and my kids over the past three years. She is one of the most kind and compassionate people I have ever met. The amount of progress my kids made in such a short time and compared to their peers is nothing short of amazing. I always knew that my kids were in the best hands when they were with her, and knowing they were well cared for and loved was one of the biggest reliefs a working mom could have.
